Welcome to Islamic Community Hub, operated by DHATECH SOLUTIONS. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our mobile application. By creating an account or using Islamic Community Hub, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Islamic Community Hub

Islamic Community Hub is a community platform that helps Muslims discover and register for Islamic events, locate mosques, and connect with local Islamic organisations. The platform also provides tools for approved organisers to create and manage events.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and use Islamic Community Hub independently. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may only use the app with the verified consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on the minor's behalf.

This requirement reflects our obligations under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the Child Rights Act 2003, both of which define a child as a person under the age of 18 and require parental consent before their personal data is processed.

3. Your Account

To access most features you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@islamichub.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Islamic Community Hub to:

• Post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or organisation.
• Create false, misleading, or fraudulent events or listings.
• Collect or harvest personal information about other users without consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its related systems.
• Use the platform for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted, including unsolicited advertising or spam.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.

5. Events and Bookings

Islamic Community Hub provides a platform through which organisers publish events and users register for them. We do not ourselves organise, host, or manage any event.

Registration and tickets. When you register for an event a digital ticket is issued to your account. Tickets are non-transferable unless the organiser explicitly states otherwise. You are responsible for presenting your ticket QR code at the event entrance.

Cancellations. You may cancel your booking at any time before the event through the app. Cancellation of paid events is subject to the individual organiser's refund policy, which will be displayed on the event page. Islamic Community Hub is not responsible for any refund disputes between users and organisers.

Event changes. Organisers may modify or cancel events. Islamic Community Hub will endeavour to notify registered attendees promptly but accepts no liability for changes made by organisers.

6. Organiser Responsibilities

Users who apply for and are granted organiser status agree to additional obligations:

• Events published on Islamic Community Hub must be genuine Islamic community events lawfully conducted.
• Event information (title, date, venue, capacity, price) must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Organisers must not charge attendees fees that differ from those stated on the event listing.
• Organisers are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licences, and insurance for their events.
• Organisers must handle attendee data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Islamic Community Hub may revoke organiser status and remove events that violate these obligations without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content created by Islamic Community Hub — including the app design, logo, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to DHATECH SOLUTIONS and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

By submitting content (event descriptions, images, etc.) to the platform, you grant Islamic Community Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Disclaimers

Islamic Community Hub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We do not endorse, vet, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any event listed by organisers. Attendance at events is entirely at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Islamic Community Hub and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or attendance at any event listed on the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through a notification in the app or by email. Continued use of Islamic Community Hub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
